Baby foot and handprints at home?
I'm about to have my baby, and I remember a few different books that can put their fingerprints in them. Instead of taking all of them the hospital was only going to do at home. Does anyone know of any babies ink kit you can buy and use at home? Where I buy it?
Just bought some non-toxic paints children from a craft shop, that's what I did. I did it by hand and many tracks as I could of once, to choose the best when it dries!

Now everyone thinks of the same old stuff that is needed to accommodate for the coming baby like bottles, diaper bag, baby swing and so on. There are a few things that you can do that are funny, easy and very personalized for the friend or loved one that is going to have their first baby. •Baby Bathtub "Playpen": when a baby is just learning to sit up, place him or her in the baby bathtub with his or her favorite toys. Don't leave baby unattended.
•Baby bib, Quick-Fix: use a clean dish towel securing it with a plastic clip or clothes pin.
•Baby Car Seat: use a towel or blanket over the car seat, when not in use during the summer to prevent the metal from getting to hot.
•Separation Anxiety: record your self reading stories to help if you leave the baby with a sitter or family.
•Baby Night Feeding: put a cooler in the baby's room with a few reusable ice packs and keep the bottle warmer in the baby's room.
•Baby powder Container: put tape over some of the holes to limit the amount that comes out.
Now make sure you add a personalized page in the beginning of your book, something about how you feel about their family. Then to finish it off use a hole punch to make 3-4 holes and run ribbon through the holes to secure the pages.
Here are a few other thoughts for the unique baby gift for the first tine parent. If you are a crafter there are several types of baby blankets that can be made, quilt, crochet and knitting. Another great thing is giving the new parents a few hand-made gift certificates that are for free babysitting so that the parents can have a nice quiet evening to them selves. It is important that parents get some quality time together away from the baby.
If you know the child's name it could be wonderful to have something monogrammed as a keepsake, it could be a blanket, t-shirt or what ever is fitting for the family's style.
